Group Resume

 

 

A group resume is one way for each of you to get to know your classmates better. It’s also a way for me to get to know you better. A resume is a way of summing up information about yourself that others might find helpful or interesting.

Procedure:

  1. Look on your desk and see what color dot you have. Match this dot to the jobs listed on the front board. Make sure everyone knows and understands their job.
  2. Create a group name—this can be done now, or later. The name should tell us something about your group.

  3. Each person needs to choose a color to record their information on the poster. You will create a key that lets the reader know who is represented by each color.
  4. Decide how to design and decorate your resume. You can use designs, pictures, fancy letters, or anything you think might make your resume stand out from the other groups.

  5. Choose items from the list below to include on your resume. You can even make up your own ideas to include.

PLACES VISITED (Vacations, day trips)

NUMBER AND KINDS OF PETS

HOBBIES

ACHIEVEMENTS (Things you’ve done that you’re proud of)

GOALS FOR THE FUTURE

SKILLS (Things you are good at, or things you know how to do)

SCHOOLS ATTENDED

JOBS (Paying jobs, chores, duties)

PLACES BORN

BIRTHDAYS

FAMILY HISTORY (Any interesting facts about your family or relatives)
